My plan (still tentative now) sounds like it will be similar to yours. But I will probably have to do what you did too just in case. We use a Starter Solution for opening FM that is already on everyone's desktop so I don't have many user (if any) that will be opening FM directly so hopefully the program shortcut wont be an issue.
